Hi there, I'm posting because I need help to fix the paint on my Bose Sounddock Portable (it's case is made of plastic, and I'm not sure about what kind of paint it has on it). It has some VERY fine scratches (or swirl), which are only visible under some specific light condition, like sunlight and fluorescent lamps.
It used to have some bigger scratches, then I used NOVUS #2 (for plastics) to remove then, and it did the job. But now it's full of those super fine scratches (which I would call swirl).
I tried to use ScratchX 2.0 to fix that, but it could not remove the swirl (I tried it using a microfiber towel to apply and remove the product, didn't work. I also tried using a t-shirt made of soft cloth, no luck.). Maybe I'm doing it wrong? I watched the tutorial on how to use it correctly.
So, I really need help with that, maybe I'm using the wrong products?
On a side note, I own a black car and I really hate all those swirls and scratches (although a pro takes care of that for me
), and I'm also more or less new to car detailing.
Thanks,
Andre
