  • Which one is best ?

Looking at Micro Fiber Towels on Meguiar's site i see 2 types.

They have The Water magnet for $8.99, it is 22"x30"

Then they have The Supreme Shine for $ 3.49 but it doesn't show the size.

Is one or the other better for Drying after a wash and to remove Polish after Polishing the car ?
Can 1 type be used for both ?
What do you guys use ?

Water magnet would be for drying the car

while the supreme shines would be for removal of waxes/polishes.

+2. That is the way I use them. I also have the marine water magnet. It is larger then the automotive water magnet. I like using this also to dry vehicles.

+3 - Supreme shines to remove waxes & polishes
Automagnet for small to average sized vehicles
Marine water magnet for large vehicles (Suburbans, pickups, Odysseys, etc)

The water magnet is a waffle weave microfiber drying towel and is to be used to dry the car.

The supreme shine microfiber towels are to be used to remove polishes/compounds, wax/sealants, spray wax's, quick detailers/wiping down interior/exterior dressings, glass cleaners, and just about everything else.

One can never have enough microfiber towels and I would get a dozen or so of the supreme shines to start (get a few water magnet drying towels), and it will also help to not waste water when only washing a few at a time. Buy some different microfiber towels (you can buy less expensive ones in bulk) for the wheels/tires/engine, as you don't want to contaminate them with the good towels.

Check autodetailingsolutions.net, they sell the Supreme Shine 3 for 6.59, although shipping can be high, but the prices are usually pretty good.

I love it. It is actually 16 x 24, which is quite a bit larger than most microfibers. Some of them are only 12 x 12.
