Re: Anything APC shouldn't be used on?

My two bottles are at 4:1 for heavy cleaning and 7:1 for light cleaning.

I use it on wheels, fender wells, sometimes tires and when plastics need to be cleaned. I do avoid getting it on paint but mainly as I figure it will remove the wax.

Is 4:1 APC+ too strong for carpet/upholstery cleaning? Regardless of how bad stains are...

Just off the cuff I would say yes..... You could take the color out of what your working on.
I use APC+ at 10:1 for normal carpet/upholstery cleaning and usually don’t go any stronger than about 7:1 on really tough stains. I’ve seen carpet get just slightly lighter when working a really stubborn stain for too long.

If I was going any stronger I would certainly want to find a place to do a small test spot.

Sometimes you just have to know when the stain is not coming out without some kind of consequence.

Good information and I agree. I use 10:1 currently for carpet/upholstery cleaning and it works fine. I was just a bit curious.
