  • Removing paint from utility trailer

I purchased a utility trailer from a guy that used to paint houses. There is some over spray and areas where paint splashed on the trailer. Is there anyway to remove the paint without damaging the original paint finish?

I'm going to try using a clay bar first. I wasn't sure if there is some kind of chemical I could use on latex house paint that would remove it.

The clay should work fine on the overspray but the areas where the paint actually splashed onto the trailer is going to present a more difficult challenge. You might have to get fairly aggressive with your removal process, but always exercising extreme caution in the process.
