Can I use the claybar with the Ultimate Quick Detailer instead of the Quick Detailer? If not, can I use it with water/shampoo combination?

Re: claybar, ultimate quick detailer?
Well, neither is great.
The UQD will be more expensive than QD, and could interfere with picking up the dirt.
The soap/water will work, but can lead to the clay falling apart, if you were to use the clay, then store it for a while. If you use the clay up all at once, or relatively soon, then there would be no problem.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Meguiar's only recommends using Quik Detailer, Final Inspection, or Last Touch diluted 1:1 as a clay lubricant.Brian Hann

Re: claybar, ultimate quick detailer?
I just ordered some Last Touch for quick detailing and clay bar use. Any reason not to use it full strength for claying? Does it somehow perform better diluted 1:1?
I know this would use less product, but it's priced fair anyways, less than a bottle of QD when you buy a large container.2010 Camaro SS RS (black), "OBSSEST"
