  • Another Dressing Question...

so i just ordered somw HD and some Last Touch from ADS. Just the sample sizes. I kno im def gonna be using the HD on engine bays but is that the best dressing for exterior purposes. I think we can all agree that its great for engine bays but do u also recommend it for Tires and Plastic trim? I like the "wet" super black look on tires that the petrolum spray gives? Mabey "hot shine (forgot the name)"? Should i get another dressing for tires and trim??
    M40, Water based, All season????
And if u have any pics, PLEASE POST THEM AND NAME THE DRESSING U USED

All Season Dressing is a better choice for tires and exterior trim. HD is great for engine bays, wheel wells, and interior.

      Re: Another Dressing Question...

I usually use Hyperdressing on just the engine bay and once in a while I will use it on tires, I never use it on exterior trim or interiors.

I would say I use All Season Dressing the most on tires. Once in a while I use M40, and Hot Shine Tire Coating on large profile tires. If I had to pick one for tires I would say All Season Dressing.

        Re: Another Dressing Question...

I mainly use HD at about 3:1 for the wheel wells and engine bay. For the exterior trim, I would rather use a product like Trim Detailer or Ultimate Protectant, etc.

Another vote for the all season dressing. Looks great on tires, and exterior trim. Last a long while also.

What about using ASD on the interior? Would HD be a better choice?

ASD can be used, but will be very glossy, and possibly greasy.

Go with either HD or WBD for the interior.
