just got car back from shop..kinda upset..

    just got car back from shop..kinda upset..

    ok. so i picked up my car yesterday @ about 1. I already had plans to drive 2 NC 2 see my mom. I just did a quick look over cause it was raining? This morning i woke up 2 look @ stuff and the paint looks ok. The passenger front door has 2 like scuff/scratch marks in the door. This park of the car should NEVER have been touched. Heres a pic.
    THIS IS AFTER SCRATCH X BY HAND!!!......



    OK. and heres another problem. I have alot of black plastic in the car. From what ive read...U CANNOT COMPLETLEY REMOVE scratches from interior plastic...? Well this is what it looks like now!! ****!!





    Do i be a jerk and have it redone. Is there anything i can do?

    I'd be complaining.

    And if an insurance company sent you there, complain to them as well.

        I've used a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to get rid of scuff marks on doors from people kicking them getting in and out. Dunno how that'll work on more defined scratches. That and a dressing after may make them a lot less noticeable.

        I'd be complaining to the shop and any insurance company that may be involved.

          Complain. The plastic parts are readily replaceable from your dealer.

            Complain. You can use a Mr. Clean Magic eraser with good success if the plastic is not textured.

              Ok. Ill try the earser but the plastic is textured. How about the scratch on the paint. Whats after scratch x by hand?

                there are a bunch of options...i would step it up to ultimate compound by hand or DA

                  One thing about body shops is that they always put parts in the interior of the car......kinda their way of not losing parts and there is never enough room in the shop so they have a bad habit of throwing everything in the interior......
