I have a vinyl tonneau cover from Le-Bra. They say not to use anything but soap and water on it no dressing. Your thoughts anyone.

    Thanks

    Hey mmguy

I've used meguiars hot shine tire gel on tonneau covers.

I use a new foam tire sponge and apply a small amount and work it in an area until all the product is about off the tire sponge, then apply more until the tonneau is covered with an even coverage.

Let set on surface for awhile then use a old micro-fiber and rub over surface to get any remaining that's not soaked in off.

Also natural shine and #40 and apply same way.

I'd say as long as you use quality products made for the type of fabric that you are fine. That is more of a disclaimer for warranty purposes.

I would use All Season dressing. Be careful what you use. Years ago, I had this type of cover on my truck. I used a water based dressing. It was not pretty after a rain. It would run down the sides of the truck. A lot of extra work.
