  • What's after UC?

I am currently working of the horizontal panels of the car which is suffering from severe etching due to tree sap, bad water spots and bird droppings. I am using the G220/W7207 cutting pad with scratchx on speed 5 but it does not seem to remove the etching. Swirls are gone for good but the water marks and the bird droppings are really tough to remove. I will be proceeding with UC once I am done removing all the swirls.

If UC is still unable to remove these etchings, what is next? Do I move up to #105? Will #105 be too aggressive, making matters even worse?

UC is a noticeable step up from ScratchX 2.0 (and much more so than the original ScratchX) so we're confident that it will cure the problem for you. In the event that it does not, however, M105 would be the next logical choice.

Can you provide us with pictures?

Often times etching will go into the paint and cause cracking clear down to the color coat - meaning it can't fully be removed.

Pictures would help us determine if you are fighting a lost cause, or not.
