There's way to remove the wax if you really want it off!
I haven't washed my car because I'm testing the durability of 476s. I also only wash my car with ONR and a bucket in the parking lot and it's been too cold to go out and do that. It's so hard to not wash my car for so long, but as soon as the weather around here gets warmer I'll go back to my weekly ONR washes. I'm hoping that claying and colorx will remove the collinite, that stuff is seriously stuck on my paint like.....paint. It shines but not like NXT 2.0, it's the durability that it's famous for.

      Hey DejaVa

If it's the durability your after get that stuff off and give it a complete cleaning and apply a couple coats of #16 over nxt 2.0

That's durable my friend and time tested again and again

The wax I am using 476s didn't last as long as the 915 but I still used it and it's still holding up. Some of those waxes are out of this world expensive, the Collinite and Nattys are very affordable. BUT...wow 476s was the worse experience I've had buffing off my vehicle. I applied it too thick and it bonded to the paint so hard that it took 2 hours of straight buffing with my supreme shine MF towels. that is why I'm so looking forward to using NXT2.0, it's affordable, easy to use and during the warmer months I actually love washing my car and applying wax/spray wax.
That's the ironic part about guys like us who have to "worry" about durability since most of us probably cant go longer than a month without doing something to the paint.

So applying an arm numbing wax like 476S does give great durability, but applying something easier like NXT 2.0 more often is actually more favorable.

The only time I really want super insane durability is if it goes on other people's cars who do not have the time to maintain. Otherwise, I get that "itch" where I need to apply "something" onto one of my own cars

The best part about M16 is actually how it still looks pretty good for a long lasting wax. There is no heavy "sacrifice" of looks for durability.

I was going to order some M16 off ADS, but I got scared because of all the melted tins everyone was getting.
