Oh, well, heck, if you could keep a black car looking great then this silver one should be no trouble at all!

      OK I think I'm good.
I ordered a W8207 pad and a W9207 pad with a W68DA backing plate. Have to buy Ultimate Compound than the magic.
      Gold Class Wash
      Claying
      Ultimate Compound
NXT 2.0 with Gold Class Plus on top
Ultimate Quik Detailer in between washes

Boy, that 61 Vette of mine looked like black patent leather with silver coves.
PS what is Color X for?

ColorX is a higher end cleaner wax, really sort of a cleaner, polish and wax all in one. It's great for quick work when you aren't chasing the best finish you can get, or for a daily driver that you want to keep looking really sharp with minimal work.

As you said If I use 3 or 4 speed on the buffer G100 for the wax what would I use for a speed for the Ultimate compound and SwirlX. Thanks Ron

Also wanted to know if a painters type tape is normally used to cover plastics and rubber parts so wax don't make them whitish? Thanks Ron

Absolutely. You'll really need that speed in order to correct defects, and put some pressure down on the pad as well. You should use enough pressure to deform the pad a fair bit, but no so much as to stop the rotation of the tool. And remember - small work areas, slow arm speed, and take your time.

Painters tape for masking off trim will make clean up that much faster and easier too.
