  • Dupli-color Hot Tires Paint Pen?

Has any one ever used this product? I want to touch up my White letters on my tires. I have cleaned them with APC but I want them brighter. I want to buy 1 pen and hopefully I can do all 4 tires.

It's alright for me. Seems to get dirtier quicker than what actually comes on the tire. I do live in a "dirtier" area though; lots of dust, etc. I haven't actually talked to anyone that has used it in a city area where pretty much everything is paved. Couldn't hurt to try it and see what happens for where you live. Seems to be a well put together product for the price though.

      Clean them with Super Degreaser.
If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.

Buy Wesley's Bleche Wite Tire Cleaner. It is THE best thing from my experience for the white letters. It works faster and easier than APC, but it's also harmful to skin, etc.

One place to try might be a motorcycle shop. I worked at a Harley dealership and they had tire pens and the service manager did use it on his bike. I honestly don't remember if it was any good though.

Go to a shop and maybe talk to a few poeple who have tried to get a better feel for it. Maybe they can give you some insightful tricks from their experiences.

When I had my truck I used Bleche Wite and it cleaned the tire and the white letters.

If it is due to them being dirty, not the paint missing, you can even use something like an SOS pad to scrub them a bit on occasion instead of buying a gallon of cleaner.
