  • Just bought some Ultimate Wipes from a PB shop and they have black edges?

I just bought a bunch of Ultimate Wipes (M9910) from a PB shop and they are all white towels with black edging on them. I was expecting to get the ones WITHOUT the black edging.

Is this an older version of the 'Ultimate Wipe'?

It seems like the black stitched edges will scratch clearcoat easily......

They are the old style. I picked up a few from a PB shop near me and thought the same thing. I havn't had any problems with them instilling more straches or swirls.

Yes, those are the older ones with the black edging (the nap/towel is different as well). I wish I still had one to verify it just to be certain, but I am pretty sure.

I have 2 of the old ones and a bunch of new ones. I think they work equaly the same. And they feel the same to me

Since they are yhe old ones, I would give them a good wash before using them. They have been on the shelf for a long time. No telling what they picked up.

These old ones are NO GOOD.

I just did the CD test and the black edges scratch like crazy!!

Although it's a long drive back to the PB shop, these are going back!

No way these are touching our new 2010 QX56.

I want the new Ultimate Wipes I thought I was getting!

I'd like to add that I think it a little deceptive to sell an entirely different product using the same product number (M9910).

The 'new' or current version Ultimate Wipes are thicker and softer than the 'old' version.

There is no comparison between the two- the 'new' version is much better.
