Quick Detailer VS Quick Wax

I'm sure this is addressed here somewhere, but I am not sure. When should these two spray products be used? Right now, since I recently waxed my car, I have been applying the QD after each wash. I just don't know when to use QW, or if I even need to worry about using the QW

The QD is for cleaning up between washes as needed. The QW is a supplement for your wax between full wax jobs.

I wash weekly on average and use a QW treatment about once a month, and do a "full" wax every 2-3 months.

To add,

The QD can be for removing bird droppings, new hard water spots, etc before they damage the paint.

The QW is like a booster wax. You would use it on a clean surface, like after a wash.

You really want the UQW though.....

So, if I understand correctly, the QD can be used without washing, providing the surface is just dusty/minor debris. Once the dirt has set, or is heavy, then it's time to wash.

yes sir..you got it down perfect ! QD also has many other uses...you also use it for claying the paint, you can use it on on clear coated rims, glass, touching up, and so on....have you tried Ultimate Quik Detailer ? its even better than than the original Quik Detailer, you just cant use it for claying because how slick it is, it leaves the paint glossy and smooth

I usually will do a clay job before a full wax job. The first time or two you clay the car, it can take awhile, but after that it's pretty quick if you've been keeping up the washing etc.

I guess this is pretty obvious. After either above scenario, then it's safe and easy to apply UQW.

This sounds great! BTW, I was asking about the UQD, I should have been more specific in my question. I can't get over the gloss this stuff produces on my vehicles.
