I have read many times on here that M07 and DC2 are kind of used interchangeably. Are they basically the same, just different lines, or are they different? When people rave about the shine a polish produced, I see M07 more often than DC2. I have used DC2 for a few years now, and just ordered some M07 from ADS, just to see for myself. Any input is appreciated.

Re: polish question
When using M07 show car glaze don't try to remove in one wipe with your micro-fiber towel, instead do your first wipe around your car or section/s and then procede to do another, often times calls for a third final wipe down if you've applied to much.
M07 is a pure polish and non-abrasive it brings out the richness and color of your paint. If you love to bring out the most from your paint then this will be your go to polish and you won't be using your old bottle of DC2 anymore.
Also do a search on here for anymore info about M07 show car glaze, find out the right and wrong way to apply this great polish and when it comes time for your first use you will see why it's the best!

Re: polish question
DC2 has almost the same amount of oils as M07, but not quite. And DC2 is slightly easier to use. For both products, you end up removing almost all of it and leaving very little behind (same as waxes). Whether DC2 or M07, you put a VERY LITTLE on, lightly work it in, and then wipe to remove the majority and wipe again to remove the remainder. That leaves a very little behind, but that little bit is what has filled in the microscopic pores and swirls. Essentially nothing is left sitting on top (which is different from waxes). The slightly extra oils in M07 gives it a slightly better depth, but that is also what makes it slightly harder to work and remove than DC2.
In summary, most consumers will find DC2 gives them almost all the benefits with a little less application problems. The die-hards on this forum want 100% max possible wet-look depth and hence go for the M07. I use it, even though Meguiars says it is optional and the diference may be mostly in the eyes of the beholder.2010 XRS
