I was wondering what you guys like to use for matte finished trim pieces like the dash and doors of interiors like the Lexus RX. I have found that products like M40 and Supreme Shine still don't shine them up. Are these parts not meant to be shiny? Or would you try GC Trim Detailer? Or eventually: Ultimate Protectant?

Re: Matte Plastic Interior Parts
I sorta think shiny interiors and tires look a bit cheesy, but I guess that's maybe a generational thing."If we knew what we were doing, it wouldn't be called research would it? (Albert Einstein 1879-1955)

Re: Matte Plastic Interior Parts
I know what you are talking about megafast, it seems like you put it on and then the next thing you know is it seems to be back to where you started.
Maybe the material it is made out of **** the dressing in because it is dry? Who knows, you could try just putting multiple coats on after it looks dry again. While ASD is usually used for tires, go ahead and try a small test spot on the dash, it may get that shiny look you are looking for without staying too greasy (just because of the nature of the absorbent dash) and if it is greasy you can always wipe it down with a towel.
I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.
I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
Remove swirls my friends.
