If your wash/rinse after SwirlX and before applying a wax, are you washing away any oils or glaze that the SwirlX left behind?

i dont quite understand why you want to do this ?
can you better explain yourself ?
there is no need to wash after using swirlX, you use swirl X as a cleaner to remove swirls and light scratches...after your done with that, you can go on to polishing and/or waxingAddicted

Re: Rinse and dry AFTER SwirlX?
Sometimes I'll SwirlX one day and then it might be 1-2 days before I wax. The car is parked in the garage and not driven without wax, but it has two days of dust on top of the SwirlX dust at that point. I either have to rinse or quick detail before I wax at that point. I am wondering if rinsing with water is diminishing what the SwirlX left behind.2010 Camaro SS RS (black), "OBSSEST"

Whatever minimal amount of oils truly left behind by SwirlX that are washed away will not create a discernible difference.
Feel free to wash and then wax. You can always add in a pure polish such as M05 or M07 after the wash, and before the wax if you just want to add the oils without doing anything to abrade the paint.
