    Here's the deal,,

    I have a 1997 WHITE ford explorer an i have never done any detail work to it,,,,,

    I just bought the 110 V2 DA Polisher an i will detailing my ford,,,,,

    I will wash an clay bar the entire car,,, so what pad should i start with an what product,,,,,, my car look's off white, with smudges an spot's,,,

    if you guys can give me the next step's,,, basically i want my car to LOOK WHITE again,,

      Really need to see some pictures. I'm working on a friend white SUV right now. Here is the thing... many times claying can remove 90% of the imperfections that you can see on white paint. When you say you want it to "look white" I'm getting the impression that it's just dull. You also mention smudges and spots. I'm willing to bet, without seeing it, that claying will make it look much better.

      If there are little or no scratches or micro marring, then just a paint cleaner/wax will probably make it look much better.

      White paint is good and bad.... good in that it does not show scratches very much. Bad in that there is little you can do with it... it does not show depth in the paint very well.
