  • Bonnet for orbital polisher

    Hi all,

I just got myself a cheap orbital polisher for my detailing regime but I am not too sure which bonnet to use. There is 4 main types of bonnet; MF, terry cloth, foam and wool.
    • Which bonnet should I use for application of scratchx?
    • After I work the scratchx onto the surface using the polisher, can I just wipe it off with a MF cloth?
    • Which bonnet should I use for Nxt liquid wax?
    • After I work the wax onto the surface using the polisher, can I just wipe off the excess with a MF cloth?
    Thank you everyone for helping.

this is more of a wax on wax off machine, not really good for any kind of defect removal. You may be better off using sx2.0 by hand and then waxing with machine

I agree, I think you are better off working Scratch X by hand rather then trying to us an OP. It does not have enough power.

For applying wax, use the terry bonnet. You could then use a MF or another terry to remove but you may just want to remove by hand. The wool is used for buffing to a shine. I'd not recommend it.
