I'm not a big fan of the smell of the Quik interior detailer. Is there any problems that could arise with misting UQD into the carpets and seats? I love the smell of it and I think it would be great if my interior could smell like it. would it leave any greasy residue on cloth seats or carpet? And if it doesnt harm anything would actually last though?

Re: UQD to improve interior smell. Issues?
Not sure what it would do to your seats etc. You could take one or two of your MFs and spray them with it and leave one under each of the front seats. This way, you can have the smell in the car and not worry about the upholstery.
When the scent starts to fade, just spray the towels again.
I know what you mean about having a nice scent in the car. I haven't tried the IQD, but I am hooked on the smell of M40 and will use it on the dash even when it's fresh and clean just to keep the smell in the carThere's something nice about opening the door and having that scent come wafting out before you even get in.

Re: UQD to improve interior smell. Issues?
I recently read a post on here where somebody uses it to make an air freshener. I could not find it for you, but maybe you could find it through a search. There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

How can you not like the smell of QID?!?!?
Anyway, no you don't want to spray this stuff on your interiors unless it is clearcoated wood trim or your windows.
What I have found works, and there are other topics on this too is to take the product you want your car to smell like and pour an ounce or so into a cup. Place the cup anywhere in your (where it won't spill) and then your car will smell like it over time. I have done this and it works. You can also still a sponge or paper towel in the cup to keep it from spilling or drying. I haven't tried UQD, but I have done poured a little NXT wax in a cup in my car before, and the whole thing smelled like it.
My favorite smelling Meg's product is the detailer line glass cleaner, I spray that stuff everywhereMatt

MMMM, grape.A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

I am planning to use that too- Odor Eliminator. I'm in a bit of searching and now I got all confused. I'm intrigued with that QID, UQW(mind telling me what this stands for?), and #40 as well. Right now, I'm using APC, and it's quite okay for me, but I want something more than that. Might be trying Odor Eliminator when I got the chance.
What can you suggest?
