    I used to have one.

It has some nice water options for mist, spray, etc.
    And it filters the water.
As long as you don't like a huge bulky thing on the end of your hose I guess you could use it.

    Mine currently collects dust though.
They have them at my Big Lots for 5 dollars.

I guess if you have hard water, it may be good for rinsing.

But otherwise, I tried it for washing and saw nothing good about it. And the Mr .Clean soap leaves a film behind as well.

with what murr said, exactly my experience with it. Good for filtering the water but thats pretty much it.

I also concur with Murr1525, I was so impressed with mine I sold it at our garage sale after one use. I use an RV water filter on the hose at the house end for filtering.

I bought one three or four years ago and used it once on my Minivan. I was so thrilled with the result I gave it my neighbor. After he used it once, I saw it in his trash can. I don't recommend this product.

I used one for a while, but only for the filtered rinse feature. I wouldn't use it for anything else, though. It does eliminate the water spots during drying if you go over the car with the filtered water after washing and rinsing the car as usual. The filters are expensive and if you have really hard water you'll go through them rather quickly.

I got one last year, and after using it once, I took advantage of their guarantee. "If you don't like it, send it back for a full refund". Funny thing was after not hearing from them in about three months, I called them, and in two weeks TWO refunds checks showed up.

I bought one really cheap and gave it away. The person I gave it to hated it and threw it away.

Re: Mr clean car wash system??

I've used mine for over a year, mostly for the deionized rinse feature. Not a bad feature for eliminating hard water spots during your final rinse. On occasion, I fill the soap chamber with Megs Gold Class and use it to pre-soak the car if it's been awhile since the last wash and the finish is really dirty. But I follow that with a traditional two bucket wash.

The filter cartridges are not too expensive. I bought replacement cartridges for just over $5 and they're supposed to be good for 10 washes, but usually last me only 7-8 washes. The problem is that the product is being phased out by both Target and WalMart and that means the replacement cartridges are getting harder to find.
