  • Synthetic Sealer 21 a good winter wax?

This synthetic sealer #21 was suggested by at least four people in another thread as a good "winter wax" So I got some.

Wow, it sure goes on thin. We were doing a white truck which made it even harder to see, but the finish felt like satin after.

I just want to make sure that this sealant is definitely a wax, and can be used, applied and sold as such?

Do you think it is better than the commercial waxes like gold class and next tech? Lasts longer perhaps? Offers better protection?

It's a really good winter wax in my opinion. Easy to use and lasts through many washes.
Better than 16 to me and much easier to apply.

Hmm, you really think its the same as next tech 2.0? It looks, smells, feels and goes on totally different.

NT 2.0 is white, thick and creamy, goes on fairly thick if applied by hand and has a sweet smell to it.

#21 is purple, thinner, and goes on extremely thin. It came in a larger 1/2 gallon jug and we had to put it in a smaller squeeze bottle in order to use it properly. It has a different smell to it and the feel of the car after is almost... velvety.

It has to be a bit different in the bottle, since it can be used with a rotary if wanted.

But the dried product will be similar to Nxt.

Most people I've talked to that have used both say that they are very similar. I used NXT 2.0 on my wife's vehicle in august and it still beads up very well.
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

Ah! So that's the secret! I always wondered why my arms were sore after using the 1/2 and 1 gallon jugs to apply product to a car.
