I have a '76 VW bus that is being repainted right now, but I want to put her in heated storage for the rest of the winter. Does anyone know if radiant heat will hurt a new (re)paint job while it cures? She has a clearcoat topcoat. I can have them raise the heater to about 5' above the roof of the van.

Re: radiant heat and new paint
You should be fine as long as the proper distance is kept between the heater and your VW. The distance would be determined by the btu produced by the heater . Most manufacturers have a safe distance listed or is available to the consumer online. Paul SLive like you're not afraid to die.Don't be scared, just enjoy your ride. Chris Ledoux RIP
