  • Powerwasher spray head type

Our traditional flat tip sprayer stoppped working properly, so we put on the cone rotating type head and find it actually works pretty good! I'm just left wondering if I should be trying to find a new flat tip or stick with the cone?

Right now it's for a 1900psi electric powerwasher for washing the cars.

What is the original purpose of each type?

It's mainly about the degree of the tip and how much pressure each tip puts out. Rotating nozzles are physically small for cornering ability. Backward ports drive the nozzle forward and flush debris. Sideways ports impact walls. The Rotation of this nozzle adds extra agitation and surface cleaning.

As long as you keep it a safe distance from paint, it should be fine. I use it all the time, it is especially good on wheel wells and getting most of the gunk off tires before you apply any type of cleaner.
