backing plate / pad compatibility??

So if I order a PC7424xp it seems to come with a Lake Country backing plate. Will those plates work with the Meguires 82xx, 92xx, 72xx pads? Or do I have to order a separate W68DA backing plate to ensure everything works well. I've searched and can't really find the answers I need on this.

If it comes with the LC 5" backing plate it may be a bit small. Our Soft Buff 2.0 pads were optimized for use with the W68 rotary or W68DA backing plate - not only do these backing plates drop right into the recess on the back of the pads for quick and easy centering, but the flexible edge supports the pad underneath and improves the overall workability of the pad over panel contours.
