Hello all! Got a quick question, I am a painter and just got done painting my mustang. If I wetsand all the orange peel out and buff out all the sand scratch's, what else is needed to give it that show car shine? Lots and lots of polishing? If so which polish? I also use gold class wax alot and was curious on what yall thought about this wax as far as "shine" is concerned. Thanks for any info and for having a great website

Re: How to get a show car shine?
You have rotaries, DA available to work with?
As far as products, a very very general guide would be to use/finish with the highest Unigrit paper possible, say 3000, then use a rotary with some #105, and a DA with some # 205.... Then wax.
But there can be a lot more to it than that... I am sure the folks more experienced with wetsanding can chime in soon enough.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Wait a day to allow the solvents to escape
Buff with rotary and wool( DBL sided and compound of choice, I like # 86 SOLO
Buff with yellow SOLO light cut pad,Rotary and # 86 to remove swirls and micro scratches from Dbl sided wool pad
Switch to D/A, Black foam 2.0 and # 205 Ultra finish polish
Give it another 2 months before wax and I would go with # 21 synthetic sealant 2.0
keep is updated and we love pics.
