  • M-07 + m-26 UQW

    All by hand:
    -Wash w. ONR,
    -Megs clay with QD
    -Wipe with QD
    -M07
    -M-26
    -UQD (final wipe)
    -Megs m/f and foam pads

Was going to use a M07 and NXT 2.0 combo, but noticed the M07 label recommends M-26.

    Thanks for info

Is this this because the cleaner in NXT will remove the M07? Also:

-If I apply the NXT first, the M07 won't penetrate?
-If I apply NXT second it will remove the M07? (Been doing this 1yr+)
[I think I got the following idea from recent post, can't remember.]
-If I apply M07, then M-26 and then after a cure time, spay on UQW?

    Goal:
-keep old paint drenched in rich oils
-slow down further checking to hottest area of hood.
    -protection an Sheeting.
-Set up CC so that I get through to spring with GC soap and UQW

Thank you for all the info

I can only comment that I've gotten fine results with both #7 or #5 top coated with NXT 2.0. I just ordered their new 2010 paste wax today. I'll try that as well over everything.

      Not as well, no.

      Shouldnt be a problem.

You can, though two thin coats of a regular wax would be recomended if possible instead of 1 regular and 1 spray.

-keep old paint drenched in rich oils
-slow down further checking to hottest area of hood.

Maybe this new Wash n'Wax will help you out as well/

Thank you for all the info

I appreciate the feed back. Spent 20 minutes trying to tweak my post and got interrupted. A little incoherent, but, got good replies.

Bottom line, two coats of M-26 or M-26/NXT should do the trick.
