Could the nxt gen car wash be used with claying instead of the spray UD?

yup, instead of taking the risk, why not just buy Last Touch and dilute it or buy a Quick Detailer...
and by using nxt shampoo + water -especially hard water, it would have the risk of leaving water spots when claying....Ganesa,
