  • Damaged pad still usable?

hi!! Recently I could get a G110, pads and some professional products as M105, M205, M83, etc. Everything was OK but about the pads i got the classics w8006, w9006 and the new 2.0 -w8207 and w9207- but sadly the 8207 was unintentionally damaged today, and I'm wondering if it is still usable, i attach a photo:

I don't know yet exactly what happened but I guess the wiper blade hit it when I was polishing the hood.

    Thanks guys!

it is better to replace it mate....Consider that the pad has to be flat on the paint so i guess that with that pad it will be a little difficult :p

maybe you can purchase a micrfiber bonnet and put it over the damaged pad and use it to remove wax. dont know if it would be too soft since everyone says to use the maroon cutting pads

That's some pretty ragged damage to the face of the pad. No telling what might get caught up in it. Best to toss it and spend another $14 for something that's going to touch your paint.

Or maybe you trim the damaged part and use it as an applicator.

I would not take a chance with that pad. Be safe and toss it.

Thanks guys, yeah, I was thinking cut and make a custom 3.5" pad
But I wanted to know because I have some old foam pads (x3070) with little damaged areas and still work good without scratch anything, but with DA pads I had my doubts with because rotation.

I appreciate all your support. Thanks.
