Re: Endurance high gloss question
I just applied this not too long ago. I poured some product on a foam applicator and applied it to the tire. After about 10-20 minutes I wiped it down with a 'dirty job' microfiber cloth. Seemed to come out ok.
If I wasn't satisified with the look after the wipe-down I would apply a second coat.
My thinking is that if you don't wipe down the first coat you won't know for sure if you need to apply it again. I think applying it again is optional.
I've only used it once though so I'll let others respond that have more experience with the product.

Re: Endurance high gloss question
I have the Endurance high gloss. The best thing I can say about this stuff is that it indeed has endurance. Lasts easily a couple weeks through rain, washes etc...
Now some of the things I'm not so crazy about... Messy, what ever you use to apply it with will be hard to clean up. I have used the brush method, so if you have those disposable brushes it's not so big a deal.
Time, it will take a fair amount of time to apply it thoroughly to each tire. If your not into spending a bit of time on your tires you may not like this product.
I have since settled on Megs Tire Foam which is a cleaner/protector. I like this product for it's ease of use and how well it seems to clean and leave just the amount of shine that I prefer when it dries. Foam the tires and walk away, that's it...
Bottom line, if you don't mind the extra time spent on your tires the Endurance last's longer than anything else I've tried.2019 Ford F-150 XLT SPORT 4X4 Ecoboost

Re: Endurance high gloss question
I couldn't edit my post so I'll start another.
To answer your original question. I find if I apply it thoroughly, really working it into the tire I only need one application. If you get it on too thick make sure after a half hour to wipe any residual off well as it will sling like the dickens and you'll be cleaning up your rocker panels shortly.2019 Ford F-150 XLT SPORT 4X4 Ecoboost

Re: Endurance high gloss question
aight thanks and i dont mind spending the extra time, the only thing i dont like about any tire product i have used so far is that it looks so good when u put it on, it looks so wet and so shiny, but when you wipe off the excess product sitting on the tire the wetness and shine go away a little. do the tires absorb the tire shine? if i didnt wipe off the excess product how long will it take for it to dry before i should drive the car to avoid sling cause it looks so good before the wipe and after it still looks good but nothing like before the wipe.

Re: Endurance high gloss question
The gel doesn't really dry so to speak from my experience. I let it sit on the tires for a half hour then I wipe any excess off well. You can try 2 light coats with 15 minutes in between but I suspect it will be the same. Just work it into the tire well then let it sit for a while and wipe off any excess. As far as sling you'll have to experiment with how much to put on and how well to wipe off.
To be honest with ya the Tire foam for me is a better option. It's cheap, I saw it at Walmart for $3 and change, so I can apply it weekly if I like and it will do a pretty good job. Cleans and shines. Foam and walk away.2019 Ford F-150 XLT SPORT 4X4 Ecoboost

Re: Endurance high gloss question
I would agree that it doesn't really dry. You definately have to wipe it down or it will sling. I do like the look of it though. Can't speak to durability just yet because I've only had it on my car for a few weeks.
You can see a tire shots of it in this thread:

If you are looking for an alternative I would recommend All Season Dressing. I used it a couple times and it is much easier and faster to apply than Endurance.

Re: Endurance high gloss question
ElCamino,
If you find that the Endurance is not what your looking for you may want to try the Insane shine spray. http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/produc...?T1=MEG+G13115
I haven't tried this one, but it's another spray and walk away that supposedly leaves a high gloss finish.2019 Ford F-150 XLT SPORT 4X4 Ecoboost

Re: Endurance high gloss question
It definitely takes some time for the gel to dry. Because of this, I primarily use Endurance on my interior. It always leaves a WOW appearance that always gets comments from my friends when we go to lunch.Brad Mower
