  • Mppp?

I know it was discontinued a while ago but I recently got some and I have a few questions.

It seem to have a cleaning ability (paint on the applicator), does it or it just me? It seems a little watery, what is the usual consistancy? What is it's main selling point (#26 - beauty, #16 - longevity)? How does that whole anti-static thing work? What colors does eveyone like it for? Overall rating as far as a LSP?

    Re: Mppp?

You see, I didn't know what MPPP was, so I did a google search.

The search result indicates that people compare it with Klasse AIO.
Seeing this, it is not hard to believe that this MPPP product has a cleaning ability. If it doesn't people wouldn't compare it with Klasse AIO, which has amazing cleaning [or polishing] power.

I think I saw the thread you are talking about, I think they were debating longevity, not cleaning ability. People do unfair comparisons all the time so they may have been doing that. What threw me off was that there is a MPPC so it seems redundant to also release MPPP with cleaning ability. It seems to have cleaning ability, but then again I the only time I don't get paint on my applicator when using M16 (damn SS ).

PS: anyone have anything good to say about MPPC or the Medallion leather care?

        Re: Mppp?

I used the MPPP for about 12 years and loved it.
It does have a small amount of cleaning ability, but I wouldn't consider that cleaning ability to be anywhere near what Klasse AIO has.
To me, the cleaning power of MPPP was just right to prep the paint for a regular application every 4 to 6 weeks.
You used the MPPC if heavier cleaning was needed.

As I remember it, the only knock I had on MPPP was the white residue if you happened to get it on black plastic trim.
As mentioned above, I applied it every 4 to 6 weeks so I can't comment on long term durability. For my use, it was fine.
Nice product, you will like it.

i recently used it for the first time. It is thin and does stain trim. Beads nicely though.
