Problem area on my bumper...

I have a small annoying area on my bumper... Its a dealer installed option that I would like to correct. Its hard to see in the photo but there is this haze area, seem to be smooth to the touch, it looks as something was rubbing there (dealer plate). I have reduced the haze in the 10 months that I have owned the truck, for cleaners I have tried #9 and DC#1. Would this be something #83 could work on or is there something better? Any thoughts?

Sorry about the photo, couldn't get one to look good. Makes it look worse than it is, there are no deep scratches or dings just a haze.

Hey,

It is hard to tell from the photo how extensive the damage may be. But since you have tried #9 which is a fairly mild product, moving up to #83 with a PC and a W-8006 Polishing Pad would be a good idea.

You could also try using Meguiar's ScratchX with a piece of 100% cotton Terry toweling.

Give the above a try and let us know how it turns out!

You know I had some scratch X a while back (I no longer do) but I don't remember if I tired it there or not. might pick some up just to sry it. I have also wanted to pick some #83 up to try anyway.
