  • Working on Water-Based Auto Paint

I believe all the body shops in California have now converted over to using a water-based automotive paint in their repair work (or at least many have). Can vehicles repaired with this paint still be worked with a DA and Meguiars products (such as SwirlX, etc.)? Are there any additional precautions, or different methods that must be used when working on this finish as opposed to a factory paint?

Only the base coat is water base. the clear is still urethane.
    D/A is fine.
