Hi again all,
I have 4 1-2 mm "holes" in my paint from rocks. They go all the way through the paint (my car is kona blue, the chips are "steel" looking).
Don't really have the time to take it in and get detailed, plus, I'm wondering how to avoid future ones anyway. 2 of the chips are on the hood, near the driver's windshield, and 2 are on my driver's rear quarterpanel.
So, I purchased matching paint from motorcraft. Comes in a tiny bottle that I can dispense as a pen or with a brush.
But... it says to use a primer on bare metal first. Do I really need to go find a primer? I'm just touching up to keep the rust away. What do you experts think?
