  • Help with produce selection

Hello all. I'm hoping some can help me with a pure polish selection. I have fresh paint - 30 days ago. I want to use a pure polish but have never before. I am wondering which is best to apply by hand and if I need to be concerned about getting it on trim/rubber. Thanks in advance.
PS... I can get Show car and New car glazes locally, as well as 3M finesse.

I've used DC2 pure polish and like it. Others have used #7 and got good results. I think that is the pro line equivalent.

      I've got 3M finnesse-it. I don't think that's what you are referring to.

Is it a pure polish from the finesse line?

        Re: Help with produce selection

Pick up some M07 Show Car Glaze, it's pretty much the cream of the crop. Apply it by hand in small sections using a foam wax applicator pad and only light pressure. Work in a circular motion and when you feel it start to drag a bit stop applying and start removing. It's a bit of a heavy product so don't try to take it all off in one wipe - break the surface and remove the bulk of it, then follow a second and/or even third time to wipe it off. Of course a good quality microfiber towel is a huge help here.

I think the Finesse is considered a pure polish, at least it is advised to use on fresh paint. Thanks Michael for the suggestion... and the tips. I'm building the courage to clay soon and apply the polish. Thanks to you both.
