Here are some shots of a 97 Land Cruiser I did for a buddy of mine. It took me around 7 hours, just on the outside. Luckily my wife volunteered to work on the inside, otherwise I would have never finished! I think she was out there for about 3 hours just cleaning the inside.
Anyways, I followed my typical process for the most part:
1) Wash and Dry
2) Clay
3) DACP using PC on speed 5, removed with Microfiber and QD*
4) Swirl Free polish using PC on speed 4,removed with microfiber, mostly to help with removal of DACP. It was being a PITA for some reason(see * Below).
5) NXT wax using PC on speed 3, removed with microfiber.
It looked really good after I was done. Of course the pictures don't show the difference as well as being there!
* THe DACP was very difficult to remove for some reason. I have used it before with no problems but yesterday I had a real hard time getting it off the vehicle. I used a microfiber and had no luck and had to use the microfiber + QD to remove the majority of the DACP. I then had to follow it with the Swirl Free polish to remove the rest. I had not planned on this last step but it worked out OK.
As for the DACP, I don't know why it was hard to remove. I am gussing it had something to do with the weather. It only reached about 60 degrees. It was warmer in my garage but probably not by much. Of course, it was most likely user error!
Here are a few befores:
