  • Mulch Spore Bonded Contaminants - little black dots

    Hello All,

I am wondering if anyone has experience with the 'little black dot' bonded contaminants. I have some on my car and from what I can tell, the only thing that gets them off is a clay bar.

    1) Is there an easier way?

Also, some of these have found their way onto one of the car's clearbra. I did not want to try a clay bar on the plastic so I first tried letting some quick detailer sit on it for a few minutes. This was not effective. Plexus was also not effective.

    2) Any ideas on how to remove these from the plastic clearbra?

    Thanks!

        Guys,

Thanks for the tip but I found a different way that worked for me. First I cleaned the area with Meg's QD. I had some bug/tar remover (turtle wax) and applied it very thinly and rubbed lightly - the spores came off shockingly easily. I quickly cleaned it up with a clean side of the MF (Meg's SS) and cleaned again with QD and a clean side of the MF for the final wipe.

If this had not worked I would have tried out the bleach method!

        Thanks again!

        Spores ****!
