  • hazzy mirrors

I have a 08 tundra which is a fantastic truck by the way. My problem is the mirrors have a haze to them that I cannot get out. It started with my passanger side and now its both. I have tried meguiars quick window detailer, windex, gold class car wash, and most recently stoners inviable glass. And nothing has seemed to work. Not sure what I should try next? Its really bugging me and today when I was detailing the truck I tried clay baring it as well and that had no effect to the haze as well. Just looking for some help.

PS a day of clay baring, polishing than waxing makes the truck look GREAT.

Seeing this is your first post, to MOL!

Do you have any pics of the problem? It's kind of hard to give pointers when you can't see the problem in question.

No idea what this haze might be, but since you've tried so many products, give rubbing alcohol a try.

I wouldn't recommend this being used on paint, but since it's a mirror I doubt it will do any damage at all, (heck, it might even help with that haze ! )

Then if it doesn't work, and you can try finding some glass scrubs and see how they do.

( Not sure about your area but I bought this just a week ago http://www.rainx.com/Products/Plasti...eme_Clean.aspx )

I also ordered a "Glass Science Glass scrub" online from autogeek.net

These are the few options I can think of, can't garantee they'll work.

      Good luck!
