    Paint fading badly, Please Experts help

    Hi I am new here and I had a problem with my Mitsubishi Eclipse I just got from my sister. The paint on it is fading pretty fast and the guy said full paint job for 2500, too much for me right now so is it possible to do anything to just cover the white areas to make it look a bit nicer. I am attaching pics, please any help would be absolutely and greatly appreciated. BTW huge Newbie, in terms of car care

    That's SEVERE clear coat failure and even missing color coat. Nothing will hide that but paint. If you just want "better," but not necessarily even "good" you can attempt air brushing in some temporary paint just to make it not stand out until you can afford a full re-paint.

      No fading. Clear coat failure. The only solution is a repaint. Sorry.

        I see a lot of eclipses with cc failure. This is another one...nothing you should do except for re-paint.
