  • My M16 arrived and...

...it is 'separated'. I ordered two tins from the EBAY seller and it arrived today. It is a clumpy cream with cracks that are filled with liquid. In my estimation it was frozen at some point. Did anyone else order off of EBAY and what does it look like? Is there any hope for the M16 or should I just toss it?

Yes, the double boiler method did work. The wife wasn't too happy when she came home and found me cooking wax on the range in one of her pots!

yeah mines came all creamy.. i just lightly slam the tin can on table so it will level it self while it was still creamy, then let it harden for 1 1/2 days.

It's about 4 hours now since I heated it and both tins look great. I got them to the total liquid state and then took them off of the heat and set them aside. They started to solidify within about 20 minutes. I'd post an after picture, but am not sure how to....

She'll be fine- I survived boiling reactive resin bowling balls, upper intake parts in the dishwasher, and headlights, taillights and a grille in the bathtub.
