What's the best way(s) to wash and dry microfiber towels? Can I use APC+ on top of the laudry detergent?

I try not to wax my towels, but I do wash them periodically.

Just make a dedicated batch, microfibers only. Add liquid detergent. ( powdered sometimes does not dissolve . The particles get trapped in the microfibers.) Dry on low heat.

Never add any type of fabric softener, liquid or a sheet.

      There you go, all done.

I also have been known to pretreat the microfibers with Shout.

I have been washing mine with Woolite and using Vineger in the rinse. Washed by themselves and dried on low heat.

I've used Dawn dishsoap, as it removes wax from my car, I assumed it would remove wax from my towels.

Now I have a bottle of "free" (free of everything- scent, brighteners, softeners, etc) detergent that I use, and it seems to work a lot better than dishsoap did.

I also put some vinegar in the final rinse to rejuvinate the towels...

Like said, a dedicated batch, I did use liquid detergent. Tumble with no heat till dry and I used one of my Maguire Gift set boxes to put the towels in. The towels still have that nice clingy feel to them and work wonderful.

Sometimes soak for a few hours in detergent then handwash + vinegar solution wash after then airdry, or toss it into the laundry when lazy with detergent then vinegar rinse.

I bought Purex Free and Clear to wash my mf towels by hand. It turned out pretty good!
