Finally got all the stuff I needed over the course of the last two days. Started off this morning washing the big ole truck to get it ready. I pulled it in the garage but its so long it won't fit. The Megacab is like 22 or 23 feet long.
I started out with Ultimate Compound on the g110 with a yelow pad. Didn't do the last half of the truck and the tailgate since the sun was hitting it. Backed it in after I did everything else and will finish it this afternoon. I also have some m205 , so I might try it this afternoon instead of UC.
AFter I did the UC I used the #7 with a black pad on about 3 to 4. Applied it by sectionis then wiped clean. Wasn't too bad taking it off, just did it thin. I then finished with a thin coat of the M16 I got off of ebay.
Here are a few pics, tried to get the best ones I could. I'm sure there were more micro-swirls but couldn't pick them up very well. There is a pretty good scratch on the tailgate that I want to take care of this afternoon and will do some before and after pics.
The paint has a real pretty silver metallic flake in it. Couldn't quite capture it but looks really good in the sun. I still have to finish the tires, wheels, and interior.
