    Is the engine already nice and clean? If not, you may want to hit it with Simple Clean or a good scrub down before applying HD.

      Re: Questions on Paint Reconditioning Cream/Hyper Dressing

      As already pointed out, You want to get the engine clean before applying any kind of dressing.

      Whats the condition of the engine?
      Is it really dirty or just a little dusty?

      To anwser your question, You can spray Hyperdressing on rubber, trim and plastic cladding and for the areas you cannot wipe down you can just leave them alone since Hyperdressing tends to dry and spread itself out on its own quite nicely.

      Hope this helps.

        HD does spread its self very well, but on occasion, it will show the runs. You may need to wipe it to even the coat out.

          Far as engine is concerned, I use Hyper Dressing on the rubber hoses and black plastics.

          3 spray bottles:
          4:1 APC
          Water
          3:1 Hyper Dressing
          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
          Cover electricals with grocery bags
          Mist engine bay w/ water.
          Mist with APC.
          With narrow brushes, brush away, and mist more APC & water.
          Then mist a lot with more water.
          Finally, spray Hyper Dressing, and spread evenly with a small MF cloth.
          Do a final wipedown once you think your plastics and hoses are saturated enough. It will dry to a beautiful matte sheen.
          Very easy and simple .
