Does the quality of MF really matter that much? I bought some at Wal-Mart and at Dollar Store...are these going to hurt my paint? Are the more expensive ones that much more soft? Are there any options say at Target/Wal-Mart/Auto zone that I could pick up quickly and not have to order?

Look on the tag and see what percent of each material is in it. I have never used wal-mart or target brands so im curious, if they turn out good maybe ill buy them since they seem to be a whole lot cheaper.

Well the ones that I use are 70% polyester 20% Terry Cloth and 10% palimyde (sp). I dont know what everyone else thinks but that do not scratch or swirl my car. I think having the terry in it may have something to do with that as well. Well you can always do the learn by doing method and if they leave little scratches and swirls you can just go over them with swirlx, however after word I would change my cloths.
If you do decide to wash with the Wal-mart brand lemme know how it goes I maybe be able to save some money haha.

Check out this great post, from the past. It will show you how to "test" your MF's.
