preventing further damage

[fzr confused]

i was wondering a few things about this damage


1) do you think this is covered under my 3y/36k warranty?
2) what can i do to prevent this from getting worse? (if it is not covered under warranty and while i save up for a repaint)
3) what can i do to prevent this from happening again?
its in the rain channel so i cant really get in there and apply anything ...the paint is just flaking right off

Well, if nothing is covered, you can try touch up paint.

Try something like gluing some find sandpaper to a stick to sand the edges of the flakes, then apply paint with a tooth pick.
