Wow, has it been a long time since I have posted on MOL.. Hope everyone is doing great!
Not sure if I need to put the blame on my girlfriend or my self for being gone so long.. I hope it doesnt get any worse.. a man needs his car crazy time once in a while! Now that its labor day weekend, I have pushed the girlfriend off for the weekend and its time to put that DA to use.
Some of you may remember a few of my last posts with the situations that were put in front of me. but, I will start fresh..
I clayed everything again. It has been a while. I figure it will not hurt it.. It was pretty easy going.. Now that I have some experience down with the DA, It went very smoothly tonight, I tackled some of the worst parts of the car.. The hood, the roof, and the trunk. Starting out, I had to make sure that i was actually making a difference in what I was doing. You can sure tell a difference, its sure not scratch free, but its better then spider webs..
Doing the hood, roof and the trunk.. It took me 3 hours. but not working real steady. I would say it would be about 2.5 hours of good solid work. for as much as I covered, I think that is alot of time? How can I speed up my process. Am I making to many rounds that is not necessary.. Other question was, I am getting alot of dust or shavings from the pad on the car. What is causing this.. what am I doing wrong..
More to come after some people chime in.. Thanks
