  • QD differences - your opinions

I have M34 Final Inspection, D155 Last Touch, and 135 Detailer.

I had been using the M34 for a while and was very happy with it and than decided to try the d155 since everyone talks about it so uch plus it's handy to have one product that is very reasonably priced AND serve two purposes as both a quick detailer spray and a clay lube. I also have the M135 since it's basically the same as the UQD but in larger bulk gallon size and everyone always raves about the UQD.

i do like and use all three products but honestly after using and comparing all three against each other, especially on the same cars I still think that the M34 seems to give the smoothest, slickest results and feel to the paint.

For my customer cars I will most likely still use the D155 since it's priced right (about $5.00/gal less than the M34 and $8.00/gal less than M135) and I use it for both QD and clay lube but on my own personal cars I may decide to stay with the M34.
i'm just really surprised that I seem to prefer the results with the M34 more than the results of the more expensive M135

If you want a product for claying, then #135 certainly isnt what you want. It does leave a polymer coating behind, like UQD does, which is a benefit the others dont give.

Other than that, definatley use the product you like best.

yes, I know that 135 isn't for claying.

i guess mostly the post was from my surprise that of the three products I seem to like the M34 the best and that's the one that i never seems to hear anyone discuss on the forum. i see a lot of mention of D155 and M135 but never M34

I switch between #135 and the last touch. I like the look both leave. I guess it is to each their own. The last touch has it benefits, so does the #135.
