  • Which combo is best for my car

I have a new dark gray car which is about 10 months old. No swirl marks. After washing and claying what is your suggestion?

    Do I use:
1-#7 New car glaze and then NXT

    or

    2-NXT and then #26 Carnuba

    or

    3-NXT alone

Or please give me another suggestion.

    Thanks
    Randy

On my vehicle I like 7 and then 26, but it is red. I think that combo makes it look much warmer and deeper (on darker colors at least) than NXT does. But really you can only try them and see which is the best looking on your specific paint.

      or

      4-#7 and then #26

      or

5-#7 and then NXT and then #26

      or

6-All the above and any other combination of pure polish and wax you can think of.

There are no rights and wrongs here--just personal preference. Have fun experimenting!

      Cheers,

ColorX + Nxt 2.0 is my general choice, if you want to stay at 2 steps.

Do not leave #7 on for an hours. It, like all of Meguiar's pure polishes, are meant to be applied and then removed immediately. See, e.g.: Meguiar's #7 glaze hard to wipe off.
