Re: Great Deal for M16 on Ebay.
M16 used to be the longest lasted wax in Meguiars line of products. How does it compare to the newer products, like UW?
Also, what is the shelf life of M16? I have had Meguairs waxes which went spoiled (separate) over the years.

Re: Great Deal for M16 on Ebay.
Wow... it's been that long? I'm still on my 1st of about 10 cans and I don't know that I can see that I've put a dent in it yet. Though, I'll probably break it out again before winter. Thanks Brad... hope to see you around town sometime.

Re: Great Deal for M16 on Ebay.
I remember starting this thread just over 3 years ago. What a great deal for M16 that this ended up being. I don't know about the rest of you, but I picked up enough tins to last my personal needs for the rest of my life and maybe even leave some for my kids. This has to be one of the most durable waxes ever made. I mean this post as a congratulations to everyone that had a chance to get in on this buy. I doubt we'll ever get a chance like this again.
Happy Polishing!!

Re: Great Deal for M16 on Ebay.
Thanks! I was about to pay $50+ USD to buy a can from England.. just to try this stuff.
Looks like only 6 cans are left... you guys better hop on this deal fast!
Thanks for posting that link! I wasn't here when the deal was first posted so I had no idea who the seller was. The original link was long dead and was impossible to use to re-find the seller.

Thanks T, I appreciate the time you took to find it. i haven't used a good old fashioned hard paste wax since I was a kid rubbing in Simoniz from the yellow can.

For those interested, M16 is again available on Ebay through the same seller that was selling previously.

Re: Great Deal for M16 on Ebay.
I live in Salt Lake City. As many of you know, our State and Local Governments often use salt to clear snow and ice in the winter. To boot, we often get rain followed by hot, direct sunlight in the summer. Two extremes that is really hard on a vehicle finish. As a tribute to M16, I've never found anything that works so well that doesn't require a monthly application to maintain a great look. I put it on my daily driver a couple times per year...the finish is in outstanding condition after almost 10 years and 165,000 miles. This stuff is durable!
One word of advice...don't put it on too heavy. If you do, it's a PITA to get off.

Re: Great Deal for M16 on Ebay.
This was snapped from a cellphone. I came out of work and it had just rained. This car was last waxed in 09/2009. Since then, it was hosed down only once about a month ago. This is a daily driver and I put about 15K per year on it. I don't think you can find any better testament to the durability of M16 than these two pictures.
