Re: Great Deal for M16 on Ebay.

I received my 3 cans of M16 today. Popped the cans open with a twist of a quarter and they look fine .

However, I'm having trouble reinstalling the lid on 2/3 of the cans. Probably 1mm of the gold inside of the lid is visible if you know what I mean. I even turned the cans upside-down and applied equal heavy pressure on the bottom of the cans against the floor to push the lid snugly into place, but no luck.

Have any of you experienced the same fun? I just don't want my stuff to dry out . If there's nothing to worry about, then awesome. Let me know!

So lets pool our money, buy all the M16 off ebay and we will rule the (detailing) world!

Ahh yes. With a couple thousand dollars you could have easily snatched up ALL the M16's initially available.

There are groups of institutions out there buying large amount of gold and release them at some point to control the prices of gold. Of course, cartel at such large scale is considered illegal and is against antitrust laws.

A person in California has done this to Lamborghinis and the guy has now being arrested by the FBI for fraud.

I'm no expert but I'd think it would have little effect. Megs manufactured and sold all of these items at one time for whatever price. It should not matter what a reseller/retailer is selling them at now. Who its hurting is retailers trying to sell these items for a much higher price... but this is not Megs. Good for Megs when they sold this lot, good for us buyers, bad for retailers who cannot move their own Meg stock right now.

I just realize I have two bottles of NXT 2.0 liquid in storage... so I wish the buyer declines my offer for a tin of NXT 2.0 paste wax.

Yeah, M16 should be good on white.

If in doubt, put on two coats of NXT 2.0 paste before you apply a layer M16. People say you get the best of both worlds doing that. Warmth and depth of NXT 2.0 and reflectivity of M16.

On colors where reflectivity is lacking, M16 may be the ideal choice.

What is a better looking wax specifically for white? M16 or the Nxt 2?

She probably realized how valuable what she has really is. Glad I got my offer in, accepted and paid for before she started rejecting.

I offered $4, and then $4.25 for the NXT 2.0 paste wax. Unfortunately both were rejected with a counter offer of $10. Not worth it in my case.

Yup, I had that exactl same feeling yesterday when I was applying it by hand. From what I read you want to still make sure it does on thin but this should me easier with a DA. So it should be a perfect marriage.

I applied it by hand and I'd say it's just as easy as there is no need to pull out the machine and get a pad dirty to apply. It only took me about 20 minutes to do my whole truck by hand.

Only 1 tin of M16 left in the listing I bought mine from, but I just noticed the same seller has another listing with 200 tins of M16 for sale.

At this price it's tough to pass up for anyone that has ever contemplated giving the famed M16 a try.
